Mains Pressure (Unvented) Hot Water System
Just like carrying out servicing on a gas boiler, a mains pressure unvented system needs to be serviced on a regular basis. This is essential to ensure that the system is working safely and efficiently. At Staffordshire Gas & Heating, we check the all-important safety valves and recharge the pressure vessels whilst cleaning the pressure reduction valve. We will also check all the electrical connections and provide you with a service certificate.
Manufacturers of unvented water heaters recommend that you have your water heater serviced once each year, and many home insurance policies require this. Note that failure to ensure that your hot water heater and the pipework are inspected and maintained each year can result in failure to cover damage if something was to occur.
